When something goes wrong, here’s exactly what to do — from the moment you notice a fault to the moment your repair is approved.
01
Stop driving immediately
At the first sign of a fault, stop. Continuing to drive may result in your claim being rejected due to owner negligence.
02
Bring your service booklet
Submit this Lunar Saga service booklet to the panel garage as proof of servicing. Without it, claims will be rejected.
03
Authorise diagnosis
Give authorisation to the panel garage to diagnose or dismantle relevant parts, alongside Lunar Saga claims department approval.
04
We handle the rest
If the fault is covered, the insurer bears the dismantling and repair costs. You pay nothing beyond what’s outside your plan.
Documents Required
Have these ready before visiting any panel workshop
Lunar Saga Service Booklet
— compulsory. Proof that your vehicle has been serviced at the correct intervals. Claims are rejected without it.
Vehicle registration card (JPJ)
— to confirm vehicle identity and ownership.
Vehicle keys
— required for the workshop to conduct diagnosis and inspection.
Your contact number
— for the claims department to reach you during assessment.
If dismantling reveals the fault falls outside your plan, the cost of dismantling must be borne by you. Always confirm whether the defect is likely covered before authorising work to begin.
